A new all day brunch spot has opened in Vancouver’s East Village. The Green is owned and operated by chefs Daniel and Rudy, with a menu centred on nourishing, health focused dishes designed for everyday dining. The space is relaxed and approachable, making it an easy stop for brunch or lunch in the neighbourhood.

The menu covers build your own bowls, fresh salads, avocado toasts, and Korean inspired egg benedicts, alongside a lunch lineup that includes pasta and risotto. Smoothies, coffee, and tea round out the drinks, with vegan and gluten free options clearly integrated rather than treated as afterthoughts.

Avocado & Yolks keeps things simple but well-composed, pairing creamy avocado with arugula, hard boiled eggs, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

The Creamy Truffle Fettuccine is comforting without feeling heavy, with al dente pasta coated in a mushroom and truffle sauce that stays balanced.

The Bulgogi Egg Benedict brings tender marinated beef, soft poached eggs, and hollandaise together on a buttery croissant for a richer brunch option.

For something lighter, the Chicking Bowl delivers clean, straightforward flavours with quinoa, sous vide chicken, avocado, and fresh vegetables.

The Green Mix salad is crisp and refreshing, combining avocado and beets with a bright yuzu vinaigrette that keeps the bowl lively from start to finish.

On the drinks side, the Hey! Greenies and Langley Mango smoothies are both refreshing and easy to drink, working well as a complement to the food.

The chef owners plan to change the menu seasonally, so there is an emphasis on returning to see what is new.
Frozen meals and meal kits are also in the works, extending their focus on convenient, thoughtful eating beyond the dining room.
The Green is located at 2223 East Hastings Street in Vancouver.
