Metropolis at Metrotown in Burnaby has launched its expanded Holidays at the Met celebration, offering a variety of festive experiences for visitors of all ages. Running until December 30, this year’s offerings include classic favourites and exciting new additions, ensuring a memorable holiday season for all.
Visitors can meet Santa Claus in various iterations, including Father Christmas, Global Santa, and Tropical Santa, starting November 12. The Holiday Lounge invites guests to relax amid twinkling lights and hanging evergreens, with activities like arts and crafts for children and live music on select dates.
Shoppers spending $300 or more can access the VIP Lounge, where they’ll enjoy complimentary wine, a hot chocolate bar, and light snacks while taking advantage of parcel check-in and cookie decorating. The lounge will be open from November 25 to December 23.
The new Date Night with Santa offers an exclusive evening for adults, featuring live music, festive canapés, and a complimentary drink. Couples can capture memories with Santa in the Date Night Lounge on December 6 and 13 for $50 per pair.
Metropolis at Metrotown will also host several community-driven initiatives, including a charity gift wrap station supporting Burnaby Neighbourhood House, a toy drive benefiting Burnaby Christmas Bureau, and roaming live musical performances throughout December.
