Family Services of Greater Vancouver in Vancouver has launched its annual Caring Neighbours campaign, running until December 31, to support unhoused youth, families in crisis, and survivors of violence during the holiday season. The initiative aims to raise $250,000 to provide essential services like crisis stabilization, counselling, and poverty reduction.
The campaign offers multiple ways to contribute, ensuring every donation makes a difference. Amazon, a presenting sponsor, will match all donations up to $50,000, doubling the impact of every contribution. Supporters can also purchase the Hot Chocolate Candle from World of LLA, with 50% of proceeds benefiting the campaign. Businesses and community groups can join by setting up donation drives or fundraising initiatives.
Funds raised will help Family Services of Greater Vancouver offer essential resources, including food, housing, and mental health support, to those in need. The campaign’s ripple effect will extend beyond the holidays, empowering individuals and families to build brighter futures.
