Ramen Butcher is now open in Burnaby Heights having recently rebranded from Ramen Gaoh. Ramen Butcher is now known for their hakata-style tonkotsu ramen and more. Everything at The Ramen Butcher is housemade daily including their noodles, gyozas and more.
The Yokohama Iekei Ramen featured “home style” pork and chicken broth with shoyu flavour from Yokohama. I loved the thick noodles and the flavourful, complex broth.
The Spicy Tsukemen delivered some fiery flavours with their house-made spicy sauce which has ground pork in it.
Their Classic Ramen is always a solid choice with signature pork broth simmered to perfection. The house-made rich and creamy soup complements the thin noodles.
We also enjoyed their Okonomiyaki flavoured Gyoza.
And to finish off, their Coconut Milk Pudding with mango puree was a refreshing dessert as was their Yuzu Jelly with citrusy flavour. These are handcrafted in-house.
Ramen Butcher is located at 4518 Hastings St, Burnaby, BC
