Nightingale brings a contemporary approach to Canadian cuisine in a stylish downtown Vancouver space. The menu focuses on shareable plates, wood-fired pizzas, and seasonal dishes crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Wood-fired pizzas are a highlight, with options such as Margherita, Quattro Formagi and more. Seasonal vegetables receive equal attention, often paired with fresh herbs, cheeses, and light dressings. Meat and seafood dishes range from roasted fish to grilled chicken, each prepared with precision.
Nightingale offers handmade pasta and I tried the Mushroom Anolini with ricotta, leek, and burgundy truffle which delivered a rich and earthy flavour. The thin, delicate pasta allowed the mushroom filling to shine, while the truffle adds an aromatic depth that lingered.

My son had the kid’s Cheese Pizza. The thin, crisp crust had just the right amount of char along with a perfectly melted cheese topping.

For dessert, the Chocolate Cookies and Cream with sea salt and mocha whip was a decadent way to finish the meal.
The space blends modern and rustic elements, creating a welcoming environment suited for both casual gatherings and special occasions. High ceilings, warm lighting, and an open kitchen add to the energy of the dining room, while a well-stocked bar serves a curated selection of craft cocktails, wine, and beer.
