A new bubble tea shop has opened in Burnaby with SunTea launching its latest location at Gilmore Place. Known for fruit teas and milk teas, the brand has introduced several opening promotions alongside seasonal and Tea of the Month features.

There are also limited daily giveaways while supplies last. First 100 guests daily receive limited opening cups. Guests numbered 101 to 150 daily receive a limited SunTea tote bag.
Tea of the Month Picks
I tried two Tea of the Month drinks during my visit. The Fleshy Lychee Tea was my favourite. The lychee pieces were juicy and sweet, adding refreshing fruit flavour to the tea and making it easy to enjoy.
The Taro Milk Tea is another Tea of the Month option, available with pearls or sago. It delivered the familiar creamy taro flavour with chewy pearls adding texture.

I also tried the classic Boba Milk Tea, which was a solid, reliable choice with balanced sweetness and good pearl texture.
Seasonal Feature: Red Beauty Orange
Another drink currently promoted is the seasonal Red Beauty Orange tea, featuring fresh mandarin aroma and silky pulp with sweet, juicy orange pieces. The drink was unfortunately out of stock when I visited, but it looks promising and gives me a reason to return soon.
