If you’re a fan of mango desserts, Mango Yummy in Richmond is a solid, local spot for to satisfy those cravings. I have been a customer of theirs for many years.

This family-run business began at the Richmond Night Market in 2010 before opening their first storefront in 2014. Today, you’ll find them on Westminster Highway serving up a range of mango drinks, red bean-based desserts, shaved ice, and mochi in rotating flavours.

What I Tried
Signature Mango Sago with Grapefruit
Coconut creamy and bright with a good balance of mango sweetness and citrus from the grapefruit. Light but satisfying.

Red Bean & Mochi with Ice Cream Ice
The red bean has a mellow, nutty sweetness and the mochi adds a soft chew.

Mixed Fruit Shaved Ice
A generous portion with fluffy ice, fresh fruit, and a drizzle of condensed milk. A good shareable item!

Mango Mochi
A soft outer mochi layer with a very juicy mango filling.

Assorted Mochi
You can get an box of assorted mochi of which I tried matcha cream cheese, chocolate Nutella, chocolate mochi, mango, coconut strawberry, and milk tea tiramisu. Each one offered a different texture and richness without being overly sweet.

They also offer Happy Hour from Monday – Thursday from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm where they offer discounts on select items like Mango, Tofu Pudding and Red Bean drinks.

Mango Yummy is located at 8271 Westminster Hwy Unit 1, Richmond, BC.
