Vancouver and Whistler restaurants are bringing fresh menus and seasonal experiences throughout June. From pop-up dinners and weekend pastry features to prix-fixe meals and ramen specials, there are a variety of offerings across the region. Whether you’re planning a night out, looking for a weekend treat, or interested in trying a limited-time menu, the following events offer a wide range of dining options throughout the month.

Fanny Bay Oyster Bar & Shellfish Market is celebrating their ninth anniversary with a one-night event on Tuesday, June 24 at 8 PM at their Stadium District location (762 Cambie Street, Vancouver). The evening will feature the Best of the West Oyster Shucking Competition, with BC’s top shuckers competing for cash prizes by shucking a dozen oysters as quickly and cleanly as possible. Tickets are $20 (available here) and include two drinks. A portion of the proceeds will support the Chef’s Table Society of BC’s scholarship fund. A special à-la-carte food and drink menu will be available throughout the night.
Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts is hosting PICAchef in Provence, a Julia Child-inspired pop-up dinner on June 4 from 6 PM to 9 PM. The event features a five-course Provençal menu led by Chef Ben Kiely, with support from chef-instructors and advanced students. The menu includes Bouillabaisse, Daube de Boeuf, and Lavender Strawberry Fraisier.
Fable Diner and Bar will present Just Kidding Comedy on June 5 at 9 PM. The lineup includes local comedians and is hosted by Josh De Grandi and Kelsey Hamilton. The restaurant will also hold a drag brunch on June 22 from 11 AM to 1:30 PM titled The Real British Invasion, with performances by The Real Human Girl and guests.
Kobe Japanese Steakhouse has extended their Art of Teppanyaki set menu through June. Available Monday to Thursday from 5 PM to 11 PM, the $58 menu includes flame-grilled tiger prawns, premium sirloin steak, teriyaki chicken, and more, all prepared tableside.
Mon Paris Pâtisserie is launching a summer pastry series each weekend in June at their Burnaby and Vancouver locations. From 9 AM to 6 PM every Saturday and Sunday, a single French pastry will be featured in limited quantities. The schedule includes Kouign-Amann (June 7–8), Mille-Feuille (June 14–15), Éclair with lemon custard (June 21–22), and Paris-Brest (June 28–29).
The Teahouse is introducing Wine Hour on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 2:30 PM to 5 PM. The offering includes $15 wine flights and $12 seasonal tasting boards. Pairings include bruschetta, local cheese boards, and edamame hummus.
Desi Indian Lounge in Downtown Vancouver is offering a new five-course tasting menu created by Executive Chef Bal Ajagaonkar. Available Tuesday to Saturday from 6 PM until close, the $45 experience includes Parsnip & Achappam Chaat, Chukandar Croquettes, Karwari Prawns, Malvani Murgh, and Chikoo Panna Cotta. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance.
Kinton Ramen is launching a limited-time Summer Ramen Series. Seasonal items include Chilled Tsukemen, Golden Chill Ramen Salad, Spicy Mazemen, and Yuzu Chill Ramen. Guests can pair these with Yuzu Ice Cream, Matcha Ice Cream, or cold drinks like Orange Lemonade.
Honey Salt is featuring a Sunday Pasta Table from 5 PM with three courses for $39 per person. Diners choose from a Caesar Salad or Calamari, a pasta dish such as Shrimp Scampi Linguini or Roasted Mushroom Carbonara, and Tiramisu for dessert. The restaurant is also offering a French-inspired Daily Bistro Menu Monday through Saturday from 3 PM, priced at $42. It includes dishes such as Organic Heirloom Tomato Salad, Chicken Cordon Bleu, and Tony’s Canelé.
The Victor has two offerings this month. The Spoils menu, available Sunday to Thursday from 5 PM, features steak dinners with sides like Japanese milk bread and mashed potatoes. Cuts include a 12oz Northern Gold Prime Rib with Yorkshire Pudding at $54, a 28oz USDA Prime Porterhouse at $140, and a 55oz USDA Prime Tomahawk at $245. The Victory Hour bar menu runs Monday to Saturday from 5 PM to 7 PM and Sundays from 3 PM to 7 PM and again from 9 PM until close Sunday to Thursday. Items include Fanny Bay Oysters, Royal Chilled Seafood Platter, and cocktails such as Emperor’s Negroni and Mango Khao Niao.
The Sandbar has brought back their Sunday Night Seafood Boil for Two at $109. The pot includes one pound of mussels and clams, jumbo prawns, two lobster tails, andouille sausage, potatoes, and corn in an Old Bay broth.
Lorette Brasserie in Whistler is offering a spring special of three small plates for $30 and half-price oysters, available every evening from 5 PM.
Dahlia Restaurant and Cocktail Bar, located at the AZUR Legacy Hotel, is introducing a new menu by Executive Chef Daniel Kenney. Available daily, the menu includes Spring Salmon Tartare, Black Truffle Tortellini, Branzino, and Short Rib Cavatelli. Lunch runs from 11 AM to 3 PM, followed by Happy Hour until 6 PM, and dinner until 10 PM.
Loam Bistro is offering two limited-time brunch features in June. The Lobster & Tarragon Benny features butter-poached lobster, poached eggs, and tarragon hollandaise on brioche. The BBQ Pork Shoulder Benny is served with the same accompaniments. Both dishes come with a salad of shaved asparagus and fennel.
