H&P Noodle House is a family-owned restaurant serving Vietnamese and Thai cuisine in a casual neighbourhood setting. With locations in Burnaby Heights and Port Coquitlam, the menu includes noodle soups, rice dishes, curries, salads, and shareable platters.

Here are a few photos of their menu.

I recently visited the Burnaby location and tried several new dishes.

The New Chef Loong Kong Grilled Chicken came with sticky rice and vegetables. The chicken was tender with a light smoky flavour, and the rice soaked up the savoury juices.

The New Special Viet Platter was the most substantial dish of the meal. It included sliced pork hock, grilled beef wrapped in betel leaves, crispy tofu, fresh herbs, pickled vegetables, vermicelli, and fermented shrimp paste. It was fun to build different bites using the meats, noodles, herbs, and sauces.

The New Hot Stone Spicy Hue Soup arrived bubbling in a stone bowl, which kept the broth hot throughout the meal. The broth had lemongrass and chili aromas, with beef, pork, herbs, and rice noodles.

The Thai Green Curry With Mushrooms was creamy and fragrant, with eggplant, mixed vegetables, and gentle heat. It was served with rice and made for a satisfying meat-free option.

We finished with the House Mango Salad, made with shredded mango, onions, peppers, shrimp, chicken, and tamarind vinaigrette. It was crisp, tangy, and refreshing, which balanced the richer dishes.

To wash it all down, there was the Thai Iced Tea.

H&P Noodle House is a comfortable spot for casual Vietnamese and Thai food, with generous portions and several dishes that work well for sharing. The Special Viet Platter was my favourite for the variety, and the Hot Stone Spicy Hue Soup was especially comforting.
The restaurant is rather spacious and features a mix of booth seating and dining tables.
