Geng Shi Ji, specializing in Hunan cuisine, is opening up a new location at 2188-3779 Sexsmith Road in Richmond. The restaurant currently operates at Union Square Shopping Centre (1211-8338 Capstan Way) and is known for their Signature Casserole Chicken (砂锅原味鸡).
Another popular dish on their menu is the spicy Mashed Eggplant With Century Egg (松花蛋擂茄子(辣)).
I do not know whether this location is a second outpost or whether it will be replacing their other restaurant. Stay tuned for more updates. However, it looks to be a very spacious restaurant with a well-appointed interior.
