Tokusen Tori Paitan Ramen at The Ramen Butcher

The Ramen Butcher in Vancouver teamed up with Tokyo’s Menya Shiki for a limited-time ramen experience, bringing a taste of one of Tokyo’s celebrated shops to Canada.

The featured collaboration was the Tokusen Tori Paitan Ramen with its creamy foam-style broth, created by simmering over five kinds of vegetables to draw out natural sweetness and umami. The broth was then combined with chicken bones for a deeply emulsified texture that gave the soup a rich and velvety body.

Each bowl came with tender pieces of chicken and noodles cooked to an al dente bite, balancing comfort with refinement. This collaboration highlighted Menya Shiki’s meticulous approach to flavour while allowing local diners a rare chance to try a Tokyo-style specialty without leaving Vancouver.
