Kobe Japanese Steakhouse Launches Art of Teppanyaki Menu

Kobe Japanese Steakhouse on Alberni Street is introducing a new Art of Teppanyaki set menu starting March 24. Available Mondays through Thursdays from 5 to 11 p.m. until May 31, the $58 dinner offers guests a multi-course teppanyaki experience prepared by skilled chefs at the table.

The menu begins with a trio of appetizers: seasonal vegetables, grilled shrimp, and Shabu Shabu soup. Guests are then served tiger prawns, sirloin steak, and teriyaki chicken, accompanied by sautéed bean sprouts and steamed Japanese rice. Dessert is a scoop of artisanal gelato.

This feature continues the restaurant’s tradition of combining tableside preparation with Japanese culinary techniques that date back decades. Since opening in 1968, Kobe has remained a family-run business. The current owner, Dylan Bruser, represents the third generation of leadership.

Kobe remains open daily, with this limited-time menu offered Monday to Thursday. Reservations can be made through koberestaurant.com.
