Fairmont Hotel Vancouver has brought back their seasonal Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea, available from February 28 to May 25, 2025. This spring feature includes a menu of handcrafted pastries, savoury items, and floral teas inspired by the sakura bloom.

Served in the afternoon with seatings at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. from Wednesday to Sunday, the tea service includes a mix of fresh and delicate flavours. Guests can enjoy Morello cherry and buttermilk scones with house-made preserves and Chantilly cream, along with savoury bites such as a pork menchi katsu sandwich, salted cod inari, and tuna tataki with ponzu pearls.


Sweets include a sakura matcha mousse cake, black sesame shortbread, and miso caramel tart, all presented with visual details that reflect the cherry blossom season. The experience is complemented by a curated list of specialty teas such as jasmine gold dragon and sencha Kyoto cherry rose. Cocktails made with sakura vodka and lavender gin are also available to pair with the menu.


















I had a wonderful experience and would recommend it. My favourites were the Miso Caramel Tart, Black Sesame Shortbread, Curry Puff, and Morello Cherry scone.
