Parq Casino has reinforced its commitment to the city with the For Vancouver initiative, a corporate values program designed to support local businesses, charities, and residents. The initiative prioritizes regional sourcing, employment opportunities for diverse communities, and financial contributions to non-profits.

Over the past year, Parq Casino has donated more than $500,000 in funds, prizes, and sponsorships to 20 Vancouver-based charities, including St. Paul’s Foundation, the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre, the Vancouver Chinatown Foundation, and YWCA Metro Vancouver. The casino also provides spaces for fundraising events, extending its community support beyond financial contributions.
From food and beverage suppliers to hotel amenities, the company works with vendors in Downtown Eastside, Strathcona, and Mount Pleasant to keep its operations locally driven. In hiring, partnerships with organizations such as CAN WiN, Open Door Group, Mosaic, Jobs West, and ISSofBC help connect individuals facing employment barriers with job opportunities at the resort.
Marketing Vice President Karen Gray, who leads the initiative, describes it as a pledge to positively impact the community through action, not just words. Parq Casino President Jeff Craik credits Gray’s leadership with strengthening local partnerships, supporting cultural and sports events, and positioning Parq Casino as a leader in responsible gaming.
Beyond its community involvement, Parq Casino is home to JW Marriott, the DOUGLAS, Autograph Collection, and amenities such as The Spa by JW, The Victor, Honey Salt, 24/7 Eats, D/6 Bar & Lounge, and BC Kitchen.
