Wild Blue Restaurant + Bar in Whistler is presenting a series of exclusive winemaker dinners during this year’s Cornucopia festival. From November 7 to 17, guests can experience intimate culinary events in the restaurant’s private dining room, with menus curated by Executive Chef Derek Bendig and Sous Chef Jasper Cruickshank. Each dinner showcases the craftsmanship of British Columbia wineries, paired with multi-course menus that highlight the distinctive character of the wines.
Under the guidance of Wine Director Kathryn Woods, the winemaker dinners celebrate both the resilience and artistry of the featured wineries. The dinners include pairings with wines from Culmina Family Estate Winery, Unsworth Vineyards, and Covert Farms Family Estates, each selected for their commitment to quality.
The series opens with Culmina Family Estate Winery on November 8, where guests will explore the elegance of its wines known for complexity and refinement. On November 9, the spotlight shifts to Unsworth Vineyards, which offers carefully blended wines that reflect craftsmanship and character. The final event on November 15 features Covert Farms Family Estates, emphasizing organic practices and vibrant flavours. Each dinner is priced at CAD $189, plus tax and gratuity, and begins at 6 p.m.
Guests attending these events will have the opportunity to engage with winemakers, learn about their processes, and enjoy menus meticulously designed to complement the wines.
