World Pasta Day arrives on October 25, and several Vancouver and Whistler restaurants are marking the occasion with special menus and chef-crafted creations. From elegant house-made pasta to family-style feasts, here’s where to enjoy it this weekend.

Claudio’s features a limited-time dish until October 26: House-Made Cappelletti filled with shrimp mousse, served with leek purée and crispy shallots for $27. The black cappelletti offers a refined balance of texture and brininess.

At Honey Salt, guests can enjoy a three-course dinner for $39 from October 24 to 26. Appetizers include Caesar Salad or Crispy Fried Calamari, followed by pasta choices such as Beef Lasagna, Shrimp Scampi Linguini, Spaghetti & Meatballs, or Rigatoni alla Puttanesca, and finished with Tiramisu. The Bambino Menu ($18) includes Macaroni & Cheese, Spaghetti & Meatballs, or Beef Lasagna with a scoop of Passione Gelato. Families can share the Pasta La Familia menu ($35 per person, minimum two guests) featuring Savoury Monkey Bread, Caesar Salad, Chicken Parm, Rigatoni alla Puttanesca, Beef Lasagna, and Tiramisu. Guests can add Italian wines, antipasto platters, or cocktails like the Cappelletti Collins and Normanac.

Quattro in Whistler offers a $40 three-course menu spotlighting their signature house-made pasta. Known for authentic Italian flavours, current dishes include Fusilli Tartufati with local mushrooms, truffle cream, sage, and pecorino, and Rigatoni della Casa with fennel sausage and San Marzano ragu.

At C|Prime, Chef Behshad and his team celebrate with a new creation, Lasagna di Rotolo, featuring layers of butternut squash, spinach, whipped lemon ricotta, sage, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, and parmesan cream.
