Canada Day 2025 arrives with a lineup of local dining features, high tea events, and community celebrations across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. From festive menus to live music and drone shows, here are some highlights for marking the occasion with food, flavour, and local pride.

“Oh Canada” Menu
Available all weekend and on July 1 at The Flying Pig, the menu features Grilled BC Oysters, Canadian Bison Carpaccio, and Burrata + Local Berry Salad. Mains include Coastal Seafood Pappardelle, Steak Frites, and Wild BC Coho Salmon with side stripe prawn risotto. Finish with Berry Sabayon for dessert.
Free Taco Giveaway
To mark Canada Day and the upcoming launch of Pinche Taco Shop, La Taqueria is giving away free tacos to the first 500 guests on July 1 at their new Seymour Street location. The event starts at 4 PM at 367 Seymour Street and is first come, first serve with one taco per person.
Canada Day Features
Celebrate with Canadian classics at Bae Side, including their Signature Caesar Cocktail for $9.99 and a lineup of Stanley Park beers at $9.67 each. Try their Poutine or the Warm Chocolate Paradise Dessert topped with maple syrup.

Running June 27 to July 1 at Honey Salt, the menu includes Tourtière Québécois, Poutine with Short Rib Burnt Ends, and Grilled Wild King Salmon. For dessert, order the Stanley Beaver Tail topped with maple sugar and chocolate. On July 1, enjoy a full Caesar Cart experience, mixing Canada’s classic cocktail tableside.
Northern Harvest Menu
From June 27 to July 1, The Victor offers the O Canada Roll with lobster and maple tempura flakes, Poached Spot Prawn Gazpacho, and Northern Surf & Turf pairing Angus filet with BC spot prawns. Finish with Beaver Tail Churros and consider the Okanagan Premium Wine Flight for a regional pairing.
Indian-Inspired High Tea
On July 1, Desi Indian Lounge hosts a fusion tea service featuring Tandoori Prawn Salad in Cucumber Cups, Avocado Chutney Brioche Toast, and Maple Walnut Scones. Priced at $35 per person, with two seatings available. Reservations are required.
Great Canadian Patio Party
Glowbal hosts an all-you-can-eat BBQ event on July 1 from 11 AM to 3:30 PM. Tickets are $30 in advance or $40 at the door and include beef burgers, smoked meat, a poutine bar, live music, kids’ activities, and themed drinks. Proceeds benefit School Meals for Kids in partnership with Vancouver Firefighter Charities.
Festivities at the Casino
Parq Casino marks Canada Day with a live DJ from 2 to 5 PM, a cake giveaway at 4 PM, and all-day specials including $8 rice bowls and $6 drinks.

On July 1, enjoy 25% off select ramen bowls at all Kinton Ramen locations in BC (excluding Victoria). The discount applies to a single dine-in bowl, with options including Pork, Chicken, Beef, or Veggie in either Original or Spicy Garlic flavour. Combo sets are not included.
Chilliwack Canada Day Activities
Chilliwack’s celebration begins with a pancake breakfast at Evergreen Hall, followed by museum programming, free skating, and toonie swims. Evening events at Exhibition Field include live music, food trucks, a kids zone, and a drone show finale.
