Archer in Downtown Vancouver offers weekday lunch specials that balance quality and value in a stylish dining setting. Each special includes a curated dish with a beer or wine pairing, making it a reliable midday option in the heart of the city.

I visited on a Thursday and ordered the Beef Burger & Beer. The burger comes with a 7oz AAA brisket patty on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, crispy onion, aged cheddar, pickles, and their house secret sauce. It was juicy and flavourful, and paired well with the Kingpin Hazy Pale Ale from Main Street Brewing. At $18, it’s a fair price for the quality and Downtown location.
Here’s the weekday lunch lineup:

MONDAY: Montreal Smoked Meat & Beer, served on light rye with yellow mustard aioli, sauerkraut, and house-cut fries for $19.
TUESDAY: Tuna Nicoise & Wine, with albacore tuna, olives, cherry tomatoes, medium-boiled egg, gem potatoes, and green beans for $20.
WEDNESDAY: Mushroom Cavatelli & Wine, made with foraged and cultivated mushrooms in truffle cream sauce, topped with panno gratatto for $25.
THURSDAY: Beef Burger & Beer, 7oz AAA brisket, brioche, lettuce, tomato, crispy onion, aged cheddar, pickles, and secret sauce for $18.
FRIDAY: Karaage Style Chicken Sandwich & Beer, with black garlic aioli, pickled cucumbers, and gem lettuce for $18.
Archer’s lunch series offers good value in a setting that suits both casual and business lunches. I’ll be returning to try more of their weekday offerings.

Archer is located at 1152 Alberni St, Vancouver, BC.
