Vancouver Firefighter Charities Holds Boot Drive To Raise Funds For Wildfire Relief On September 6

Vancouver Firefighter Charities (VFC) is mobilizing its members and showing support for BC families affected by the recent wildfires by hosting a city-wide Boot Drive to raise funds for the Canadian Red Cross on Wednesday, September 6.

From 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sept. 6, pedestrians and commuters across Vancouver will be met by more than 70 off-duty firefighters collecting donations (both cash and major credit cards) at the following five major transit hubs across Vancouver:

  • Waterfront Station (Cordova St. between Seymour and Granville);
  • City Centre Station (corner of Granville and Georgia);
  • Burrard Street Station (corner of Burrard and Dunsmuir);
  • Cambie Street Station (corner of W. Broadway and Cambie)
  • Commercial Station (corner of Broadway and Commercial)
