Vancouver Firefighter Charities (VFC) and Parq Vancouver are set to ignite excitement with the launch of the 2025 Hall of Flame Calendar. This highly anticipated event will take place on Friday, October 11, at the chic D/6 Bar and Lounge, starting at 7 p.m. The annual calendar, now in its 38th edition, serves as a significant fundraiser supporting various community programs and the BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund.
A Night of Glamour and Goodwill
The black-tie gala at Parq Vancouver promises an evening filled with excitement. Guests will have the opportunity to meet and take photos with the featured firefighters, enjoy fire-themed cocktails, and indulge in a variety of culinary delights such as ceviche and oyster shucking, prepared by VFC’s Fire in Your Kitchen culinary team. The event will also feature live music, DJs, and a silent auction, making it a memorable night for a worthy cause.
Supporting the Community
The Hall of Flame Calendar has been a cornerstone of VFC’s fundraising efforts since its inception. Each year, professional firefighters volunteer to be part of the calendar, which has raised over a million dollars for BC charities. Proceeds from the calendar sales and launch events support VFC’s community initiatives, including Snacks For Kids, Sports For Kids, and Lifelines For Seniors, all of which provide essential support to at-risk youth and seniors across BC.
Tickets
Tickets for the launch party are available for $50 per person, with all proceeds going to support VFC’s charitable programs. A limited number of tickets are available through Eventbrite. Calendars are also available for pre-sale on the VFC website for $19.99 and will be shipped starting in mid-October. Attendees of the event will have the chance to purchase the calendar before it hits the public.
