Located in the heart of Creekside Village, Evolution Whistler offers a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere than the bustling Whistler village, while still being close to everything you need for a great getaway. My family and I enjoyed their two-bedroom Creekside accommodation and here is a look at our experience.
Spacious and Modern Accommodations
The two-bedroom Creekside suite spans approximately 1,008 square feet, comfortably accommodating up to six people. The two bedrooms feature king-sized beds, while the living room includes a queen sofa bed for additional guests.
The two full bathrooms offer a soaker tub and a separate shower, providing ample space for families or groups to prepare for the day or unwind in the evening.
The suite’s open-concept design is centred around a fully equipped kitchen that allows you to prepare meals at your own pace. With a fridge, oven, microwave, and even a blender, you have everything you need for in-room dining.
The fireplace in the living area adds a touch of coziness, making the space feel homey and inviting. However, we found that you can see into one of the bedrooms through the fireplace so we covered it up with one of the sofa cushions for more privacy.
For laundry needs, the suite includes an in-suite washer and dryer. Air conditioning, individually controlled heating, and central heating ensure year-round comfort, regardless of the weather outside. Entertainment needs are also well-covered with cable TV, a DVD player, and wireless internet.
The patio had a table and seating where you can soak up the views.
Amenities
Evolution Whistler offers a variety of amenities to enhance the experience. The outdoor heated pool and hot tubs are perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring Whistler’s trails or slopes.
The fitness room and sauna provide additional options for relaxation or keeping active.
With underground parking, it was convenient to come and go without worrying about parking at the busy resort. There was also a private theatre where you could enjoy movies and a pool table.
Location
Staying in the Creekside area provides a peaceful retreat while still being close to the action. Evolution is steps away from the Creekside Gondola, making it an ideal location for skiing or mountain biking. A grocery store and a few dining options like Mekong are within walking distance, which makes it easy to stock up on essentials or grab a quick bite.
Overall, Evolution Whistler offers a comfortable, upscale experience that balances convenience and luxury in a more relaxed part of Whistler. It’s a great option for families or small groups looking for a peaceful getaway with all the modern comforts.
