Siegel’s Bagels will mark 35 years in Vancouver with a full-day street party at their Kitsilano location on Friday, May 16. The event runs from 8 AM to 10 PM and will include music, product sampling, and the energy of a busy sidewalk crowd outside 1883 Cornwall Avenue.

The anniversary coincides with founder Joel Siegel’s 89th birthday. He and his daughter, Parise Siegel, will be on-site connecting with long-time customers and reflecting on the business’s legacy. The day will feature throwback music from a live DJ and informal storytelling from those who have supported the shop over the years.
Founded in 1990, Siegel’s Bagels is known for its Montreal-style bagels, which are hand-rolled, boiled in honey water, and baked in a wood-fired oven. The Kitsilano and Granville Island shops have served generations of locals and visitors with bagels made fresh around the clock.
