Rice Cake Master is getting a head start on the Black Friday shopping season. Both their Richmond and Burnaby locations are offering an early bird special with a 50% discount on fresh fruit mochi, also known as Daifuku, featuring flavours like strawberry, mango, and durian, with some conditions.
Until November 30, for each purchase of any of their rice cake varieties, which include Red Bean, Black Bean, Soy Bean, Black Sesame, Osmanthus, Oreo, Black Kerneled Rice, and Chestnut Date, enjoy a 50% discount on a fresh fruit mochi of your choice, such as Strawberry Mochi, Mango Mochi, or Durian Mochi.
Fruit mochi, also known as Daifuku, a delightful dessert with deep roots in Japanese culinary traditions, combines the soft and chewy texture of traditional mochi with the vibrant flavours of seasonal fruits. This treat involves wrapping a sweetened glutinous rice dough around a succulent fruit, like a strawberry or mango. All the mochi balls are handmade daily with freshly milled glutinous rice flour in-house.
