Purdys Chocolatier has launched new spring treats, available at select locations and online. These include:


Dark Chocolate Dates ($20) – Premium dates coated in smooth dark chocolate and rolled in a choice of roasted almonds, cashews, or shredded coconut.
Pistachio Cherry Bark ($25) – A mix of 60% dark chocolate layered with pistachios, hazelnuts, tart cherries, cranberries, and Himalayan pink salt, finished with raspberry powder.

The Dark Chocolate Dates provided a nice contrast between the natural sweetness of the dates and the deep flavour of the dark chocolate. The crunchy coating added texture, with the almond version being my favourite for its roasted taste.

The Pistachio Cherry Bark balanced sweet, tart, and nutty flavours well. The Himalayan pink salt brought out the taste of the fruit and nuts while the raspberry powder added a bright finish, making each bite more complex.
