Mon Paris Pâtisserie Hosts Apéro Wine Pairing Evenings

Mon Paris Pâtisserie is hosting two ticketed wine and cocktail pairing evenings titled An Apéro in Mon Paris at their Olympic Village location in Vancouver, bringing together classic French flavours and curated beverages on January 30 and February 15. The events take place at 1731 Manitoba Street and begin at 7 pm, offering an intimate, coursed experience built around the traditions of French apéritif culture.

Chef and owner Elena Krasnova collaborates with sommelier Evgeniia Doronina to present a multi-course menu that explores the relationship between regional French wines, artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, and refined pastry. Each evening opens with a welcome Passion Fruit Royale, a sparkling cocktail made with passion fruit liqueur and Burgundy Crémant, served alongside Canelé au Foie Gras and Apricot Confit.

The cheese and wine progression features several French appellations, beginning with Reblochon AOP with Rousette de Savoie, followed by Le Cendrillon Goat Cheese with Chenin Blanc, 18-Month Comté AOP with Chinon Cabernet Franc, and Roquefort AOP with Sauternes. An Artisan Charcuterie Plate with Côtes-du-Rhône includes paprika-cured duck, pork rillette, Rosette de Lyon, baguette, and onion jam.

The main course presents Pâté en Croûte aux Morilles with Gamay, a chilled mosaic of pork and morels encased in pastry and served with spring mix. The evening concludes with Milles-Feuille with Champagne, composed of caramelized puff pastry, Madagascar vanilla cream, raspberry coulis, and passion fruit foam.

Tickets are priced at $160 per person, inclusive of taxes and gratuity. Reservations are available through https://www.monparis.ca.
