McDonald’s Canada had offered a limited-time Minecraft Movie Meal tied which included a Big Mac, 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, or McSpicy chicken sandwich, plus a medium fries, a medium fountain drink, and one of six themed collectibles—each with a card that unlocked an in-game skin in the Minecraft Marketplace.
McDonald’s sent me all six collectibles in a special collector’s box: Big Mac Crystal, Birdie Wings, Fry Helmet, Grimace Egg, Soda Potion, and Zombie Hamburglar. Each one came in pixel-styled packaging and brought their own fun backstory tied to the game.
There was also a limited-run Nether Flame Sauce—spicy, garlicky, and a solid match with McNuggets.
To cool things down, the Apple Shake was on the menu too, made with apple-flavoured syrup and vanilla soft serve.
