Gibson’s Winter Sour

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Gibson’s Finest Rare 12 Year Old Canadian Whisky
  • 4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 3 oz simple syrup
  • 1 oz cranberry juice
  • 2-3 dashes cranberry bitters (optional)
  • Rosemary sprig

Instructions:

1.    Mix all ingredients into shaker and shake dry. Add ice and shake again hard. Strain into rocks glass. You should get a small amount of foam even without egg whites. 

2.    Alternatively, add egg whites into the shaker with the rest of the ingredients for a thick foam. 

3.    Garnish with rosemary sprig.

Gibson’s Sterling Hot Toddy

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Gibson’s Finest Sterling Canadian Whisky
  • 0.5 oz honey
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 2-3 oz of hot water to taste
  • Cinnamon stick to garnish 

Instructions:

1.    Add all ingredients to a mug and top with hot water. Stir with cinnamon stick.

Gibson’s Holiday Cola

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Gibson’s Finest Bold 8 Year Old Canadian Whisky
  • 4-5 ounces of cola, to your preference
  • 2-3 drops of vanilla extract
  • 1 oz cranberry juice
  • Fresh or dry cranberries

Instructions:

1.    Pour 1.5 oz Gibson’s Finest Bold Canadian Whisky over ice into a tall glass. Add 2-3 drops of vanilla extract to taste. Top with cola, leave room into the glass for cranberry juice. Top with 1oz of cranberry juice. Stir with bar spoon. 

2.    Garnish with cranberries on a swizzle.

Gibson’s Revolving Door

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Gibson’s Finest Bold 8 Year Old Canadian Whisky
  • 1.5 oz fresh lemon
  • 1 oz maple syrup
  • Cinnamon stick 

Instructions:

1.    Mix all ingredients in a shaker over ice and stir well. 

2.    Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Gibson’s Finest Egg Nog

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Gibson’s Finest Sterling Canadian Whisky
  • 4 oz of egg nog
  • Cinnamon stick

Instructions:

1.    Pour all ingredients over ice in a rocks glass or highball. Stir well. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.

Gibson’s Apple Pie Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Gibson’s Finest Rare 12 Year Old Canadian Whisky
  • 1 oz pure apple cider
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup
  • 3 dashes angostura bitters
  • Pinch of apple pie spice 
  • Apple slices 

Instructions:

1.    Mix all ingredients in a shaker over ice and stir well. 

2.    Garnish with apple slices.

NOSE: Sweet and fruity. Mild and slightly caramel notes evolve into sweet lemon candy.

FINISH: Medium to long, warm and peppery, with some sweetness on the finish.

Gibson’s Finest Venerable 18 Year Old is an elegant and sophisticated blend of rare 18 Year Old Canadian whiskies that is offered in limited edition. It is sweetly aromatic and rich in character. With a uniquely long velvety finish, this superbly distinctive whisky provides a rewarding experience for discerning rye connoisseurs.

NOSE: Scents of pine sawdust, with loads of oak and the luxurious sweet fragrances of vanilla, toffee, and caramel. Rich yet dry, with lots of spicy rye, fruity rye and dusty rye. A generic sweet rye fruitiness with a contrasting whiff of green wood.

PALATE: The first sip is rich in caramel, toffee, vanilla, and fresh sweet corn until spicy oak and hints of pepper turn quite hot on the tongue. Rich and oaky. After 18 years in wood, an initial flurry of cedar and fresh sawdust resolves into a fragrant base for a whole range of rich and flavourful delicacies.

FINISH: Medium finish. Hot and spicy with fading pepper and zesty bitter lemon. Loads of wood and rye spices, then some sweet fruitiness towards the end.
