Kitchen Sink Pocket Orchestra Plays At Local Winery Art Show

Grizzli Winery is reminding the public to make sure they don’t forget to RSVP for their Spring Art Launch on March 11th, before it’s too late.

Kitchen Sink Pocket Orchestra Plays At Local Winery Art Show

Their newest spring art exhibition, located inside of the impressive 20,000 square foot tasting room, showcases the art of four local Okanagan Artists: headliner

Maggie Kozina – an abstract artist, as well as guest artists Arlene Buick – an acrylic artist, Alice Tunnell – a mixed media, resin, and acrylic artist and Elizabeth Flesher, an acrylic artist.

Peruse the art as you’re serenaded by the Kitchen Sink Pocket Orchestra.

Enjoy wine, light appetizers, and a silent auction, and have the chance to meet and greet the artists behind the canvas.

All art will be for sale, with proceeds going to Grizzli Winery’s Art Gallery Charity Partner, The Okanagan  Symphony Orchestra (OSO).

The four artists have also donated four of their paintings that the public can bid on at the Spring Art Launch, with 100% of the proceeds going to OSO.

The Kitchen Sink Pocket Orchestra is composed of four musicians that have played together for over a decade as Okanagan Symphony members.

Featuring abstract art, mixed media, resin, and acrylic mediums, ‘IN HER EYES’ will be open to the public daily during regular tasting room hours from February – May 28, 2023, where the exhibition will rotate into their Summer Show.

‘IN HER EYES’ is about embracing individual perspectives and seeing a story through someone else’s lens.

It is about seeing colours that bring a sense of wonder and imagination; a peaceful moment where all of the world recedes; an inspirational feeling that fills the heart and opens our eyes to new beginnings.
