To celebrate the grand opening, Kinton Ramen will introduce itself to its new North Shore neighbours by offering all guests 50% off signature pork, chicken, and vegetarian ramen specialties in original, miso, shoyu, and spicy broths for dine-in service from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The new North Vancouver location joins a Kinton Ramen family of restaurants in Vancouver that started with the establishment of its first West Coast outpost at UBC at 6111 University Blvd. and will soon include a third location to be opened in Surrey at #103 – 13639 George Junction later this spring.

Founded by Toronto’s Kinka Family in 2012, Kinton Ramen has earned critical acclaim for its chef-driven Japanese ramen dishes, which feature rich and flavourful broth paired with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

The chain now has more than 20 locations in Canada and the U.S.

The restaurant has received numerous industry awards for its signature take on Japanese ramen including a Platinum award in the ‘Best Asian’ category at the 2019 Toronto Star Reader’s Choice Awards and has been voted ‘Toronto’s Best Ramen’ by readers of NOWMagazine for six consecutive years.

The menu, developed by Kinton Ramen Executive Chef Aki Urata, will include a range of hearty ramen bowls prepared with slow-cooked pork or chicken broth in five distinct styles — Original, Shoyu, Miso, Spicy Garlic and Spicy Jalapeño — as well as a selection of four vegetarian bowls featuring a 100-percent plant-based broth in Original, Veg Shoyu, Veg Miso, and Veg Spicy varieties.

Ramen bowls will be served with a choice of thick, thin, or shirataki noodles and finished with traditional and modern toppings like bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, jalapeno paste, nori, and sweet corn.
