Starry Sake Soirée at Victor’s Rooftop

Victor’s Rooftop Patio will host the Starry Sake Soirée on July 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. This five-course tasting menu, paired with premium sake, features dishes such as Edamame Shira-ae, Snow Crab Sunomono, Australian Wagyu Flat Iron, and Strawberry & Matcha Shortcake. Sake Samurai Patrick Ellis will guide the experience. Tickets are $125 per person.

Perrier Terrasse Brings a Parisian Patio Experience to Vancouver

From July 10 to 12, Perrier Terrasse will transform Provence Marinaside into a French-style patio celebration. Running from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily, the event promises live music, art experiences, and a taste of European bistro culture. Guests who order Perrier during the event may enjoy spontaneous moments as the terrasse comes alive with French flair. This limited-time experience is part of Perrier’s celebration of art de vivre and local summer patio culture.

PICA Offering ‘The Bear’ Pop-Up and Express Cooking Classes

The Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts presents their third ‘The Bear’ Pop-Up Dinner on July 24 from 6 to 9 p.m., inspired by the FX series. Dishes include Focaccia with whipped ricotta, Quail Egg with béarnaise, and Agnolotti with guanciale, plus a surprise course revealed after the Season 4 premiere. Tickets are $125.

They are also offering hands-on Express Cooking Classes this summer, running Thursday to Saturday at 11:30 AM. Designed for both locals and visitors, these 2-hour sessions guide participants through the preparation of a seasonal three-course meal using fresh summer ingredients. Hosted in professional teaching kitchens, the experience is led by chef instructors focused on building practical skills and confidence. Current classes highlight fish-forward dishes, with a handmade seafood pasta class launching soon. Reservations are limited.

Champagne BBQ in the Sky at Lavantine

Lavantine Restaurant & Skybar will host a Champagne BBQ in the Sky on July 6 from 12 to 8 p.m. The rooftop event features Veuve Clicquot, live DJ sets, and grilled dishes like Octopus Batta Harra Skewers, Whole Branzino, and Lobster Tails. The celebration also marks Lavantine’s first anniversary.

Just Kidding Comedy at Fable Diner & Bar

Fable Diner & Bar hosts Just Kidding Comedy on July 3 at 9 p.m. Hosted by Josh De Grandi and Kelsey Hamilton, the night features a lineup of local comics. General admission is $15, with early bird pricing at $12.

Kobe Japanese Steakhouse Izakaya Menu

Kobe Japanese Steakhouse now offers an Izakaya menu in their lounge, available weekdays from 5 to 10:30 p.m. and weekends from 4:30 to 11:30 p.m. New small plates include Ebi Mayo Prawns, Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice, and Yellowfin Tuna Sashimi, paired with specialty cocktails like the Matcha Moonlight and Sake Colada.
