Explore West Coast U.S. Wines at VanWineFest 2025

Vancouver International Wine Festival returns for its 46th edition from February 22 to March 2, 2025, featuring 122 wineries from 15 countries. The highlight this year is the Wines of USA, showcasing 50 wineries from California, Oregon, and Washington. These West Coast producers will offer festivalgoers a chance to explore wines that reflect the diverse terroirs and climates of the region, from sun-soaked valleys to cool coastal areas.

This year’s festival will feature a wide range of events, including winery dinners, seminars, minglers, and International Festival Tastings, held at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample nearly 1,000 wines across 44 events over eight days. The wines from U.S. producers will be prominently displayed in a dedicated section of the Tasting Room, along with the much-anticipated Taste of America lunch on Saturday.

The festival will not only highlight American wines but also include a global selection from countries like France, Italy, Spain, Argentina, Australia, and Japan. In total, nearly 700 wines will be available for tasting, many of which will be exclusive to the festival. All wines can be purchased at the onsite BCLIQUOR store.

VanWineFest is known for its “vine stars”—winemakers, proprietors, and senior executives—who come to Vancouver to pour and discuss their wines with attendees. Look for the signature blue lanyards to meet these wine experts.

Tickets for the International Festival Tastings go on sale November 13, and early purchases come with a special offer: book a hotel stay through StayVancouverHotels.com to receive a free ticket to the tastings.
