Experience the Magic of the Harrison Tulip Festival This April

Harrison Tulip Festival returns to the scenic landscape of Agassiz this spring to celebrate two decades of floral excellence in British Columbia. The Onos family invites visitors to explore 45 acres of vibrant fields featuring 14 million spring blooms starting this April. Guests can wander through rows of 150 different tulip varieties alongside fragrant hyacinths and cheerful daffodils. Their event holds the title of the largest tulip festival in Canada and recently earned international acclaim as a top destination for photography enthusiasts.

Harrison Tulip Festival features a massive four-acre show garden where flowers grow at different heights to create a visual masterpiece. Visitors can find unique varieties such as fringed tulips and double blooms throughout the display. Their farm atmosphere includes local food trucks and live musical performances to enhance the outdoor experience. Wellness enthusiasts can participate in sunrise or sunset yoga sessions held directly among the blossoms.

The Night Garden debuts this season as a premium evening experience on select dates including April 16, 17, 18, 24, and 25 from 6 pm to 10 pm. This new attraction transforms the show garden into a luminous wonderland using lanterns and specialized lighting installations. Guests can enjoy Dutch street food while exploring the illuminated grounds after dark. Their onsite evening market showcases local vendors, including a regional cidery and brewery for those looking to sample local flavours. An illuminated swing set provides a whimsical backdrop for nighttime photos.

Tickets for the Night Garden are $35 per person and include entry to the main fields starting at 4 pm. Regular festival tickets currently offer an early bird rate ranging from $15 to $25 for any day tickets providing flexibility for visitors. Date specific tickets will cost between $10 and $25 once the official opening is announced. The Bloom Bar offers a creative space where visitors can assemble their own flower crowns and custom bouquets. Their self-serve area includes an arts station for painting wooden postcards and unique coasters.

Onos Greenhouses continues their legacy as a primary supplier of cut flowers for Western Canada while managing this massive agritourism event. Transportation is simplified this year through a new shuttle service operating from Lougheed Station on April 15, 19, and 26. Their round-trip option costs $39 per person and includes festival entrance for a convenient journey from the city. Early bird tickets are available now for those planning a trip to these historic fields.
