Dockside Restaurant at the Granville Island Hotel is teaming up with Granville Island Brewing to present the first-ever Brewmaster’s Longtable Dinner on Saturday, November 23, 2024. This exciting new culinary series pairs beer-inspired West Coast cuisine with seasonal beers from Granville Island Brewing, offering a unique dining experience on Vancouver’s Granville Island.
The four-course dinner begins with a Trio of Oysters, served with creative accompaniments such as a mignonette made from carbonated Granville Island Brewing Lager, paired with their False Creek Peach Sour. The second course features house-cured Duck Ham and Jam with fried bread and grilled carrots, complemented by the Kitsilano Juicy IPA. The main dish, Beer-Braised Beef infused with Lions Winter Ale, comes with creamy polenta, kale, and root vegetables, paired with English Bay Ale. For dessert, indulge in an English Bay Ale Chocolate Cake, served with whisky-poached fruit compôte and crème anglaise, alongside a glass of Lions Winter Ale.
The event begins at 6:30 pm and includes prizing from the brewery throughout the evening. Tickets are $80 per person, available via Eventbrite. Seating is limited for this special dinner, so reservations are highly recommended.
