Hosted by the BC Dive Fisheries Society (a non-profit organization), the Divers’ Catch Gala was a celebration of B.C.’s dive-harvested Ocean Wise geoduck, sea urchin, and sea cucumber.

The Divers’ Catch Gala gave guests the opportunity to enjoy ocean-to-table delicacies while showcasing the sustainable practices behind their harvest. No bycatch or heavy machinery are involved, only careful and conscious collection by local divers. The event took place at the Radisson Blu in Richmond and featured creations by top chefs from Metro Vancouver and beyond. Here are photos from my experience.,
