Car Free Day Surrey, presented by TransLink, is set to return to 137th Street in Newton for its highly anticipated third year. Stop by for a day filled with family-friendly fun, music, dance performances, and entertainment for all ages on Saturday, June 8th, 2024, from 12 pm to 8 PM.
This FREE event will feature live musical performances by Latin fusion group Los Duendes, alternative Hip Hop/R&B artist PEAK, singer/songwriter Rebecca Sichon, Reggae jam band Gisto and the Grateful Living, and many more!
Enjoy family entertainment with Yuki the Juggler, Canadian National Yo-Yo Champion Terrance Wang, and Magical Kingdom Sing & Dance-Along! There will also be FREE face painting, balloon twisting, a bounce house, mini golf, and roving entertainers in the Family Zone.
Back by popular demand, the Dance Stage promises memorable performances by Sullivan Heights Dance, Panorama Dance, and breakdance battles with DJ A-Slam and Tabletutors.

Getting to the festival: Plan your trip using https://www.translink.ca/trip-planner. There will be a FREE bike valet by the stage at 74 Ave; look for BEST Bike Valet and park it for the day. If you plan to drive, please utilize Car Share options like Modo, or car-pool with others. Keep in mind that parking is limited, and please be respectful of businesses and neighbours and don’t park in restricted areas. We encourage you to bike, walk, electric scooter or use Uber / Lyft.
