Bow & Stern has officially opened their Brentwood patio for summer, welcoming guests to enjoy seafood-focused dining in an expansive 52-seat outdoor space at The Amazing Brentwood. The Burnaby location, which marks the third outpost for the family-run restaurant group, will celebrate their first anniversary this September.

Open daily from morning to midnight, Bow & Stern Brentwood is led by Head Chef Mario Ruiz, whose experience at Bishop’s, Bauhaus, and Say Mercy informs a menu driven by West Coast ingredients. Highlights include small plates, tacos, sushi, and larger format dishes such as the Hot Seafood Platter with Arctic char, lobster, mussels, clams, and more, and the Chilled Seafood Tower, which features oysters, jumbo prawn cocktail, tuna tataki, and the signature B&S roll. ‘Reef & Beef’ pairings match premium seafood with AAA Canadian steaks.
The location offers twice-daily Happy Hour service from 2 to 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. to close. Highlights include Two-Buck-a-Shuck Oysters, $10 Oyster Shots, $8 Baja Fish or Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos, and $15 Cod & Chips or Chicken Sliders, with local beer and cocktails at reduced prices.
On weekends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests can enjoy Brunch Happy Hour from 10 to 11 a.m., featuring $15 menu items, along with options such as the Brunch Tower for Two, Chicken & Waffles, and a trio of Eggs Benedicts. Table Mimosas and Caesars round out the brunch experience.
Weekly promotions include $6 well highballs on Mondays, $5 house draught on Tuesdays, half-priced bottles on Wine Wednesdays, $10 sangria every Thursday night, and $5 weekend Mimosas and Caesars until 2 p.m.
