BlackBall Taiwanese Dessert is one of my favourite brands for a refreshing Taiwanese dessert in Metro Vancouver.
We revisited their Richmond location at 8300 Capstan Way Unit 1063 recently and got the Purple Rice Milk (our go-to at Blackball); the Strawberry Fruit Slush (which was a sugar bomb, I wouldn’t recommend it); and the Blackball Grass Jelly with red bean, pudding and pearl (another one of our favourites).
We ordered these items to go and got a buzzer when they were ready. The spacious is clean and modern with ample seating. The only thing is that their menu is very large so it can be difficult to narrow down the order right away. Parking can be a challenge at Union Shopping Centre but be patient, you’ll eventually get a spot somewhere. Reasonable experience overall!
