Alberta Distillers Limited has released Alberta Premium Golden Rye 9 Year Old, a Canadian whisky crafted from 100 per cent Canadian rye grain and aged for nine years. Available across Canada this summer, the expression highlights the brand’s triple-barrel maturation process, using new white oak, ex-bourbon, and ex-Canadian whisky casks to create depth and complexity.

Bottled at 45 per cent ABV, Golden Rye 9 Year Old opens with aromas of caramel, leather, and a hint of coconut, followed by flavours of raisin and molasses. The finish balances sweetness with signature rye spice, offering a smooth, layered warmth. The release is designed to showcase the influence of time, terroir, and careful barrel selection on rye whisky.
Proudly made from grain to glass in Canada, Alberta Premium Golden Rye 9 Year Old retails for $37.95 per 750ml bottle and reflects the brand’s focus on authenticity and innovation in Canadian whisky-making.
