Beaucoup Bakery and Beaucoup Creamery offer pastries, drinks and soft serve desserts at Time Out Market Vancouver in Oakridge Park. Here are a few offerings that I tried.
The Milk Tea Peach Tiramisu had a nice milk tea flavour while while the peaches added sweetness and tang.
The Mochi Basque Cheesecake has a creamy base with a lightly caramelized top. The mochi adds chew to the soft cheesecake, giving it some chew.
We also had the Chocolate Chunk Cookies, which makes an easy option to take home or have with a latte at the market.
The Oeuf D’or Soft Serve combines sweet and salty flavours. Pork Floss adds a fluffy texture to the Classic Soft Serve, while Mochi Pieces give it some chewiness. Salted Duck Egg Yolk brings a salty richness, with Custard Sauce adding more sweetness.
The combination makes for an interesting spoonful, particularly as the pork floss softens against the ice cream. The mochi also gives you something to chew between the softer textures of the soft serve and custard.
The Black Sesame Latte is made with house black sesame cream and finished with latte art and sesame seeds. The roasted, nutty sesame flavour works well with the creamy milk, making it a nice drink to have alongside the desserts.
The two counters offer a few ways to stop for dessert at the market, whether you want a drink and cookies or a soft serve with more unusual toppings.
