Pax Romana on Commercial Drive updates their food and drink menus for the season, adding new snacks, share plates, and cocktails at the East Van room. The bar and kitchen team take a Mediterranean route with graze-friendly bites, a focused list of plates, and sherry-friendly desserts.

Chef Luke Boswell’s menu builds around grazing. Charcuterie Platters come with a rotating selection of European meats and cheeses, served with sourdough and pickled vegetables. Small bites include Pan con Tomate, Gildas, and Marcona Almonds. Share plates range from Bagna Cauda and Tomato Carpaccio to Gambas, Imam Bayildi, and an Iberico Sandwich with chorizo and Gruyere. A Basque Burnt Cheesecake and Zabaglione close the meal.
The cocktail list covers classics with a house twist, led by the Pax Martini, Pax Espresso Martini, and Pax Negroni. Four curated wine groupings lean into Old and New World bottles, with space for vermut, sherry, and amari. Happy Hour runs from 5 to 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. to midnight, with Sunday daylong pricing on pintxos and signature drinks.
Pax Romana comes from the team behind Loula’s Taverna, Sopra Sotto, and Claudio’s Ristorante, with chef Boswell previously leading the kitchen at Bar Corso.
Pax Romana is located at 1670 Commercial Drive, Vancouver, BC.
