DD Mau Chinatown Launches All-BC Wine Program

DD Mau Chinatown has introduced a new all-British Columbia wine program, offering curated local wines designed to complement the restaurant’s bold Vietnamese dishes. Known for their modern take on traditional flavours, the team at DD Mau is leaning into regional pairings that reflect both the diversity of BC’s wine scene and the vibrant energy of Vietnamese cuisine.

The list features four BC wines, each chosen for their versatility and character. The Bella Wines ‘23 King Chardonnay (Sparkling) offers a crisp start, pairing well with seafood. Synchromesh Wines Long’s View Dry Riesling brings aromatic lift and acidity, suited to vermicelli dishes and Bún Chả. Scout Vineyard Rosé is fruity and dry, balancing freshness with enough structure for salads and DD Mau Chicken Wings, while the Lock & Worth ‘22 Merlot, a chillable red, complements grilled meats and flavour-packed small plates.

To mark the launch, the restaurant is offering $8 glasses of wine every Wednesday, paired with their Wingin’ It Wednesday special, which features $2 off chicken wings. The promotion invites guests to explore wine and food pairings in a casual and flavour-driven setting.

This new initiative reflects DD Mau Chinatown’s ongoing commitment to showcasing bold, authentic dishes with contemporary, local touches.
