British Columbia Joins National School Food Program

British Columbia has signed an agreement with the federal government under the National School Food Program, securing $39 million over three years. This funding will expand the province’s Feeding Futures program, providing nutritious meals to 90,000 more students.

To raise awareness last month, Mr Brent Mansfield ran 7 km x 7 times to urge the BC Government to sign the National School Food Agreement 5 to ensure $7.4 million available for this school year wasn’t lost.
