Dockside Restaurant on Granville Island offers a relaxing waterfront dining experience in Vancouver, with a menu that highlights fresh and flavourful dishes. The restaurant’s inviting atmosphere and scenic views create a welcoming setting for a dining experience.

We visited them for a leisurely lunch and had a nice table with a waterfront view. Here is what we tried:

The Seafood Pasta featured a medley of mussels, clams, salmon, and prawns in a light white wine butter sauce with cherry tomatoes. The dish was finished with an anchovy crumb, fresh herbs, and a touch of lemon, adding a bright, zesty finish. The seafood was perfectly cooked, and the sauce coated the al dente pasta beautifully, creating a harmonious balance of flavours.

The Dockside Burger delivers on both flavour and texture. The 7 oz beef patty was juicy and well-seasoned, complemented by melted cheddar, crisp lettuce, and a tangy gochujang jam. The garlic aioli adds a creamy richness while the fries were nicely crispy.

Service was reasonable and it was overall a good experience. Dishes are priced a bit higher due to the prime location of the restaurant.
Dockside Restaurant is located at 1253 Johnston St, Vancouver, BC.
