I stopped by 1927 Lobby Lounge inside Rosewood Hotel Georgia for drinks and snacks with a friend after dinner. Named after the year the hotel opened, the lounge has an old Vancouver feel with dark wood, gold detailing, marble tables and green velvet seating.
I had the Lemon Grove (Seedlip Grove, lemon oleo, lemon juice and lemon zest) which was a bright, refreshing non-alcoholic cocktail with plenty of fresh lemon flavour. The Mr. Hospitality 2.0 (brown butter-washed rye, maple, cacao and black walnut) was richer, with maple sweetness followed by notes of cacao and walnut. We shared the Truffle Fries, which were crisp and came with Parmesan aioli for dipping.
