Water Street Cafe, an iconic restaurant in Gastown, is participating in Dine Out Vancouver with a variety of lunch, brunch, and dinner options. Known for their Pacific Northwest cuisine with Italian influences, the restaurant offers a $40 dinner menu with a starter, main course, and dessert. Here is what we tried.
The Burrata & Pesto was a creamy start, with burrata paired beautifully with a Parmesan pistachio basil pesto. The Seafood and Lentil Soup brought a comforting balance of hearty flavours.

For mains, the Rigatoni Arrabiata combined a spicy pomodoro sauce with whipped burrata and ricotta, finished with basil oil and fresh herbs. This is one of my favourite pastas from their regular menu and worth trying!

The Pan Seared BC Salmon was perfectly tender and served with a warm mustard-tarragon potato salad, maple vinaigrette, and a fresh fennel salad.

To end the meal, the Tiramisu brought classic Italian flavours with coffee-soaked lady fingers, mascarpone mousse, and a touch of coffee liqueur. The Fresh Fruit Sorbetto provided a lighter option, featuring seasonal fruit, raspberry coulis, and candied walnuts.

Overall, Water St. Cafe’s Dine Out Menu for dinner was delicious and of great value especially for this location.
