NEW at The Victor at Parq Casino is an “After Office” Adult Happy Hour Meal. The set includes a King River Wagyu Burger, Triple Cooked Fries, Baked Apple Pie, and a Grey Goose Tiny-Tini served together as a complete meal. The offering is featured as part of their Victory Hour menu at the bar and lounge. Priced at $39 per person plus tax and gratuity.
Victory Hour is available at the bar and lounge Sundays from 3–7 p.m., Mondays to Saturdays from 5–7 p.m., and Sundays to Thursdays from 9 p.m. to close, with a selection of chilled and hot items and drinks also offered during those times.
The King River Wagyu Burger arrived as a substantial build with caramelized onions, aged cheddar, and black truffle aioli. The patty had a rich, beefy flavour, and the sweetness from the onions balanced the savoury notes. The truffle aioli added a subtle aromatic quality without overpowering the burger itself.
The Triple Cooked Fries were crisp on the outside with a fluffy interior.
The Baked Apple Pie finished the set on a warm note. The filling had a soft texture with a gentle spice profile, and the pastry added a light contrast.
The accompanying Grey Goose Tiny-Tini was a compact serve, clean and citrusy with a hint of lemon peel.
From the Victory Hour menu, I also tried the Hamachi Nobu Style, which featured sliced fish dressed with yuzu ponzu and shaved serrano. The dish had a bright, citrus flavour with a mild heat.
The Fanny Bay Oysters were served simply with lemon, mignonette, and horseradish. They were fresh and briny.
The Victor’s signature Japanese Milk Bread was also fluffy and delicious!
For non-alcoholic options, the Island Zero had a tropical profile with pineapple and lime, while the Floris incorporated floral notes with lavender and lemon.
The Victor’s After Office Happy Hour Meal and Victory Hour program provide an easy way to experience a mix of steakhouse staples and lighter bar offerings in an approachable manner.
Overall, I thought that the Victor’s Victory Hour menu provides well-rounded, approachable options to enjoy the offerings from the restaurant in an elevated setting.
