The first collaboration dinner will be hosted in partnership with JoieFarm Winery and feature renowned chef Quang Dang, the first dinner in what will be an ongoing series.

The 4-course food and wine pairing experience will take place Thursday, March 2nd at 6 pm at The Vancouver Fish Company located on Granville Island, accommodating up to 70 ticketholders.

The series aims to celebrate The Vancouver Fish Company’s commitment to sustainability and encompasses their hook-to-plate motto of serving Ocean Wise seafood and fish sourced from local fishermen. 

All four courses will showcase a taste of the Okanagan Valley’s expressive terroir and how it compliments the finest and freshest West Coast cuisine, prepared by chef Quang Dang and The Vancouver Fish Company’s own, chef Matthew Blais.

Each course will blend modern techniques with West Coast culinary traditions while highlighting fresh and high-quality ingredients from local farmers and producer partners.

Led by The Vancouver Fish Company’s managing director Steve Duyzer and chef Quang Dang, guests can expect an elevated and educational dining experience.

Prominent chefs and sommeliers will guide guests through each wine-paired course with the hope of building a strengthened sense of community through the deep connection between food and wine.

Tickets can be purchased here for $199 and will include sparkling wine upon arrival and a canapé reception prior to the 4-course meal and gratuity (not including taxes).

The dinner will take place at the vibrant restaurant and bar located at 1517 Anderson Street in Vancouver‘s Granville Island.

Details surrounding the next collaboration dinner happening in May will be made available in the coming weeks and will continue to encapsulate premium local ingredients alongside top-tier BC wines.
