Iconic Granville Island staple The Sandbar is welcoming the summer season in its signature style by announcing new food and beverage features, live nightly entertainment, and the return of its Sunday Night Seafood Boil for Two.

Headlining the new features is the Sandbar’s ever-popular $97-per-couple Sunday Night Seafood Boil, which offers two guests a taste of the wide bounty of fresh catches available here on the West Coast of BC and includes double lobster tails, a full pound of mussels and clams, jumbo prawns, Old Bay broth, Andouille sausage, potatoes, and local corn on the cob. The seafood boils are offered for $97 plus tax and gratuity every Sunday throughout the summer starting at 4 p.m.
The Sandbar has also added new items to its food menu such as Wagyu carpaccio (crispy oyster mushrooms, watercress, artichoke aioli, crostini) and Smoked Salmon and Burrata (salsa verde, pine nuts, crostini), as well as an array of refreshing, lip-smacking summer libations to its cocktail listlike the Pineapple Coconut Mojito (Malibu rum, Havana club white rum, pineapple juice, lime, mint), Ume Kiss (Japanese plum wine, Empress gin, lemon juice, mint) and Clooney’s Cadillac (Casamigos reposado, Grand Marnier, lime juice, simple syrup) and more.
The Sandbar will also provide guests with musical accompaniment seven days a week starting at 7 p.m. as well as Fridays through Sundays from 3 to 6 p.m. when it plays host to a rotating roster of talented singer-songwriters, multi-instrumentalists and entertainers such as long-time Sandbar crowd-favourites Emily Best, Kelly Crowe, Jamie Wright and Jeff Bryant.
A picture-perfect waterfront locale with charm to spare for locals and visitors alike, The Sandbar’s elevated dining room and enclosed patio offer spectacular views of Granville Island, False Creek and the Vancouver skyline. The Sandbar is one of four iconic restaurants in a Sequoia Company of Restaurants family that also includes the Teahouse in Stanley Park, Seasons in the Park and Cardero’s.
