Taynton Bay Spirits Pickle Vodka for your next Caesar

Did you know that the May long weekend actually begins with another quintessential Canadian holiday?

Every year, National Caesar Day is celebrated on the Thursday before the May long weekend and marks the countdown to summer.

While there is no official way to celebrate National Caesar Day, what better way than to enjoy the unofficial Canadian Cocktail – a refreshing Caesar.

Traditionally, Canada’s national cocktail, is made with vodka, clam juice, hot sauce, Caesar spices, and Worcestershire sauce, served up in a salt-rimmed glass and garnished to your heart’s desire.

Now that might be the ordinary Caesar, but how do you make it extraordinary?

That takes greatness. As you embark on making your next Caesar, make it extraordinary and peak your curiosity with the Taynton Bay Spirits Pickle Vodka from Invermere, BC.

National Caesar Day is May 18 - Kick-Off your long weekend with the perfect Canadian cocktail

This salty and dilly pickle vodka will burst through any clamato to make a perfect Caesar before you even add any other ingredients.

In 2022, a Taynton Bay Spirits Pickle Vodka-based Caesar came in third in the Mott’s Clamato 2022 Best Caesar in Town Competition.

The Taynton Bay Spirits Pickle Vodka gives everyone the perfect baseline to start your caesar with, or make a quick and easy Naked Caesar which is just clamato and pickle vodka, nothing else.

Once you create your baseline Caesar, it’s all about the garnishes.

Traditionally Caesars are garnished with a celery stalk, olives, limes, green beans, pickles or can go as far as burgers, hotdogs, onion rings, and so much more.

No matter how you top it, it’s a great savoury sipping bevy and often a great morning after pick me up.

If the Taynton name seems familiar, you may have seen owners Justin Atterbury and Steve Kuffler on Season 14 of Dragon’s Den in the fall of 2019 on CBC.

They walked away from that experience with a deal with Arlene Dickinson who continues to be involved with the company to date.
