We visited Taves Estate Cidery in Abbotsford, a family-run spot best known for their small-batch apple ciders made from estate-grown fruit.

The cidery is part of the Taves Family Farms property, which also has a farm store, U-pick orchards, and seasonal activities.

Their lounge offers a relaxed setting with barnyard booths, rustic seating, and heated outdoor areas.

A fun bonus is the chance to spend time with the resident goats before or after a drink.

What We Tried
Misty Marisol: Pea-flower infused soft cider with lavender and demerara syrup, topped with club soda.

Glass Slipper: Taves soft cider mixed with non-alcoholic curaçao and caramel syrup, served in a striking blue hue.

Dusky Sunset: Guava, apple cider, rose syrup, and tonic water, a bright and refreshing pink drink.

Summer Sunrise: Pineapple juice, apple cider, grenadine, and tonic water, a tropical mix with balanced sweetness.

These went well with their charcuterie board with assorted crackers, deli meats, and cheese.
We went home with a Pink Currant Sparling Cider which we loved.

Taves Estate Cidery is located at 333 Gladwin Rd, Abbotsford, BC. Hours: Thursday to Sunday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
